Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration declaring that the election of Respondents 8 to 12 as representatives of street vendors for the Town Vending Committee for Zone X of the Greater Chennai Corporation as illegal, null and void and to conduct the elections after proper enumeration of the Street Vendors as per the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and the Tamil Nadu Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme and Rules 2015 under the supervision of a Retired Judicial Officer appointed by this Court.
