Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the entire records relating to the petitioner's son's detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 03.12.2018 on the file of the second respondent herein, in proceedings Memo C.No.127/G/IS/2018, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son namely S.Gowtham @ Ondrai Gowtham, S/o.Saravanan, aged 24 years, before this Court and set the petitioner's son at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's son detained at Central Prison, Coimbatore.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J) It is represented that the impugned order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Advisory Board and subsequent to it, the Government vide order in G.O.Rt.No.435, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XII) Department dated 07.02.2019, revoked the order of detention dated 03.12.2018, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending against the detenu and he was directed to be released forthwith. The said Government Order is produced before the Court and the same is taken on file and record.

2. In the light of the said development, nothing remains for further adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
