Learned counsel who appeared for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 18.08.2021 stating that he had given change of Vakalat to the petitioner on 03.03.2021 and the petitioner has also acknowledged the receipt of the same. The said fact has also been informed to this Court on 08.07.2021. On 08.07.2021, Mr.N.Baskaran, 1/3

learned counsel undertakes to file Vakalat for the petitioner. Thereafter, the matter was adjourned on several occasions and there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the name of the petitioner was printed in the cause list. Even though the name of the petitioner was printed in the cause list on 18.08.2022, the petitioner did not appear either in person or through counsel. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. There is no representation for the respondent also. Therefore, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the civil revision petition for nonprosecution. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
