O R D E R

The respondent filed a private complaint under Section 200 of Cr.P.C against the petitioner for an alleged offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument act, before the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court I, Egmore in CC No.3243 of 2013 and the learned Judge,after considering the facts and circumstances of the case sentenced the petitioner, against which, appeal has been filed by the petitioner before IV Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai. The learned Sessions Judge also dismissed the appeal. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Criminal Revision Petition before this Court.

2. Today when this Criminal Revision Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent were present and submitted that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the matter was settled out of Court, since the alleged offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act is compoundable offence. The above submission has also been recorded by this Court.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Revision petition is disposed of.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
