Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition has been filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to register the Will of the petitioner including and touching upon the land of 4 acres and 24 cents in Survey No.723, Pallikkarani Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chengelpet District and consequently for payment of compensation of Rs.5 Crores to the petitioner.

O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the Will of the petitioner including the land of 4 acres and 24 cents in Survey No.723, Pallikkarani Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chengelpet District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. It is stated in the affidavit that the registration was refused as the lands are marshland.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that if the Will is presented, the same will be considered for registration. It is also stated that there is an order of this Court upholding any transaction with respect to the marshland.

4. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to appear in person and present the Will and the respondents are directed to consider and register the same after verifying the said land, if it is otherwise in order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
