ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the second respondent filed a counter affidavit, wherein, it has been stated that the petitioner has joined duty in the assigned office on 03.10.2018 itself and submitted the relevant records for new posting; suppressing the said fact, he has obtained an interim order on 04.10.2018; and now, he retired from service with effect from 28.02.2019.

2.Mr.M.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner joined duty in the assigned place.

3.In view of the above, no case of contempt has been made out by the petitioner. Hence, recording the submissions so made by the learned counsel on either side, this Contempt petition stands closed.
