Respondents Prayer:- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith take necessary measures to ensure that no water logging happens in the school premises and further direct the 2nd respondent to adhere to the scheme set forth vide letter dated 14.10.2014 and to find alternative methods to drain of water from other areas without disturbing the peaceful functioning of the school.

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of a mandamus directing the respondents to take measures to prevent the water logging and to adhere to the existing scheme to drain the rain water without flooding the school premises. The petitioner has given a detailed representation on 01.11.2018 to the 2nd and 3rd respondents in this regard and the grievance of the petitioner is that the same has not been acted upon by the respondents. 2.Heard Mr.S.Ambili Menon, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mrs.Karthikaa Ashok, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 & 3.
3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 01.11.2018 and take action in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to respondents 2 and 3 along with a copy of the representation dated 01.11.2018 and a copy of this order. 2/6
This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
