Prayer: Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, direct the 1st respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner petty shop by restraining 2nd and 3rd respondents form interfering peacefully running the shop situated at Devi Karumari Amman temple premises collector Nagar, Annanagar West subsequently direct the 1st respondent to restore the electricity connection of the petitioner petty shop.

ORDER

On going through the records, this Court is able to see that there is a pending dispute between the petitioner and the temple. The petitioner wants police protection for the purpose of running his petty shop at Devi Karumari Amman temple premises collector Nagar, Annanagar West. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is prevented from running the shop.

2. The issue involved is purely civil in nature. The petitioner has to establish his right to run a shop only before the Competent Authority / Court. The petitioner cannot directly approach the police seeking for police protection. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
