PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent 1 & 2 to consider my representation dated 02.07.2018 and effect reconnection within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the 1 & 2 respondents consider petitioner representation dated 02.07.2018.
2. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the Electricity Service Connection provided in the premises of the writ petitioner had been disconnected on account of the nonpayment of Current Consumption Charges. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the petitioner is ready to pay the nominal Current Consumption Charges.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, states that the disconnection was effected on account of non payment of power Current Consumption Charges and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
in the event of paying the Consumption Charges, the connection will be restored.
4. This Court is of an opinion that in respect of the payment of Current Consumption Charges, there cannot be any leniency and the Consumption Charges are to be recovered strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations. Thus, there is no infirmity in respect of the disconnection, with reference to the ground that the writ petitioner has failed to pay the Current Consumption Charges. However, it is made clear that in the event of clearing the Current Consumption Charges, the respondents shall consider the case of the writ petitioner for reconnection. The petitioner is bound to pay the Current Consumption Charges and only in the event of paying the Current consumption charges, he would be eligible to get restoration of his service connection, which was already disconnected.
5. With these observations, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
