Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to order change of investigation of the case registered in Crime No.151 of 2018 on the file of the fifth respondent police from the fifth respondent police to CBI or CBCID for investigation and for further course of action in accordance with law.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to order change of investigation of the case registered in Crime No.151 of 2018 from the file of the fifth respondent police to CBI or CBCID for investigation and for further course of action in accordance with law. 2.The case of the petitioner is that on 27.06.2018 at about 4.30p.m., she received information that her son's dead body was hanging in a tree in a cashew thope and when she and her family members went to the said place, they found the respondent police taking the body of her son to the hospital for conducting post mortem. Though she named some persons and informed that her son was murdered by them, the case was registered as if her son died on suspicious circumstances and she is suspecting the said persons. 2/4

Even after registering of F.I.R., the respondents did not enquire the said persons. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the fourth respondent to complete the investigation within a reasonable time frame and issues direction to the third respondent to monitor the investigation. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the fourth respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.151 of 2018, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent is directed to monitor and guide the investigation being conducted in Crime No.151 of 2018.
