O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue non-traceable certificate regarding the petitioner's sale deed dated 06.03.1986.

2. According to the petitioner, on 19.06.2018 while the petitioner was travelling in the bus, she lost her original sale deed. Hence, she made a complaint before the first respondent on 21.06.2018 seeking to issue a Non-traceable certificate. But, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that even though the complaint is pending with the second respondent, so far, the petitioner did not appear before the second respondent and produce relevant documents enabling them to conduct an enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent on 09.01.2019 and produce all the relevant documents enabling them to conduct investigation. On filing such documents, the second respondent is directed to conduct the enquiry and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two(2) weeks thereafter.

5. With the above direction , this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
