ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.5 of 2018 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.During the pendency of this case, the parties have reached a compromise and an affidavit has also been filed by the de facto complainant before this Court agreeing to quash the F.I.R. as against the petitioners.

3.Taking into consideration the nature of allegation made in the complaint and also of the fact that it is a matrimonial dispute, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the F.I.R. pending. In view of the specific submission made by the learned counsel for the second respondent and also taking note of the affidavit filed by the de facto complainant, the F.I.R. in Crime No.5 of 2018, on the file of the first respondent police is hereby quashed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed, in view of the compromise between the parties.
