ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.284 of 2016.

2.Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, the Inspector of Police, V-1, Villivakkam Police Station is present before this Court.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that a closure report will be filed today i.e., 18.12.2018 before the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Egmore. The RC notice will be also be served on the petitioner.

4.In view of the above, no further orders can be passed in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the appropriate Court and pursue his remedy in accordance with law.
