This Writ Petition has been filed a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2018 and take necessary action on the same in accordance with law.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is an aspirant of becoming a Managing Director of REPCO Bank. The petitioner was a Director in the REPCO Bank and also a shareholder. Contrary to rules, the authority has decided to appoint a Managing Director.

The petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 10.10.2018. Till date, the petitioner's representation was not considered. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed.

3. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that already, the appointment of Managing Director process was completed and the Government of India also approved the said post in February 2019. Hence, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous.

4. In view of the above submission, nothing survives in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
