ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2018, forthwith and issue patta in favour of the petitioners.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the 1st petitioner's mother is the owner of the property measuring an extent of 5382 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.29, Old Survey No.265/3, equivalent to Paimash No.502 Adambakkam Village, Vanuvampet, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, which was purchased by her vide registered sale deed dated 12.04.1949 in Doc.No.596 of 1949. In the said property, the 1st Page No.2 of 7
petitioner's mother constructed a house. Whileso, when the 1st petitioner's father was alive, his sister one Rukmani Ammal requested that she may be permitted to live in the above house since the adjacent property owned by her was not conductive for her occupation. Thereafter, the patta in respect of the 1st petitioner's property was transferred to the name of Rukmani Ammal and thereafter, in the name of her legal heirs, who are the respondents 4 to 12 herein. In order to cancel the said patta and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioners, the 1st petitioner has made a representation before the 3rd respondent on 12.10.2018. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the 1st petitioner's representation, dated 12.10.2018 and issue patta in favour of the petitioners, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Though the writ petition is pending from the year 2018, no counter has been filed by the official respondents.
5. In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the 1st petitioner's dated 12.10.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners and the private respondents.

Though the present writ miscellaneous petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to permit the petitioners herein to join in a single writ petition under Rule 2-B of the Rules to regulate the proceedings under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, it is pertinent to note that, the Registry has already made an endorsement in the main petition itself that, "court fee fully paid".
2. In view of the above endorsement made by the Registry, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
