Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal RC.No.1528 OF 2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to SUSPEND THE SENTENCE and enlarge the petitioner on bail in MP.No.1 of 2018 in RC.No.62/Sec.Pro/DCP WPT/2018 on the file of the 1st respondent pending disposal of the CRL.RC.NO.1528/2018.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.RC.No.1528 of 2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.E.JAI SHANKAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by order dated 10.09.2018 in M.P.No.1 of 2018 in R.C.No.62/Sec.Pro/DCP WPT/2018 by the learned Executive Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner of Police, Washermenpet District, and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the above criminal revision.

2. Heard both sides.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended and the petitioner is released on bail on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town. Further, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
