Respondents PRAYER: This Company petition praying that this court, Petition filed under Section 20(1) of the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985 praying to wide up the first respondent company namely M/s. Suman Synthetics Ltd., in Case No.9 of 1988.

This Company Petition coming on this day before this Court for hearing in the presence of Mr.Vijay Sridhar, Deputy Official Liquidator for the Petitioner herein, and upon reading the Order dated 23.07.2021 and the Report of Official Liquidator filed herein and the Court made the following order:

The Company Petition was presented by the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction in the year 2014. No order of winding up has been passed as such. The Board itself has been abolished. The Report of the Official Liquidator shows that there is no Company by name Suman Synthetics Limited, registered with Registrar of Companies at Chennai.

2. Though a Company by name Suman Synthetics Private Limited, is registered with Registrar of Companies, Chennai and it is alive, it is not known whether it is the same Company. None appears for the Board also. Hence this Company Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
