O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.06 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Ammapet, Salem.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.06 of 2014 and also filed a charge sheet in C.C.No.102 of 2014 and the same was ended in acquittal by the Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Salem, on 12.01.2017. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
