O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to hear the petitioner, if at all the respondents received any proposal for acquisition of land in S.Nos.149 and 153, Thiruvottriyur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

2. Though this writ petition has been filed in the year 2014, till now, the petitioner has not received any notice. Therefore, this writ petition, filed simply seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation and to pass orders, is pending for more than nine years. Further, still the learned Additional Government Pleader has not stated anything as to the acquisition of land.

3. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to give a representation to the respondents, within a period of two weeks from the receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such a representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same if at all they have any proposal for acquisition of the land, issue notice to the petitioner, conduct an enquiry in a manner Page No.2 of 4

known to law and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of one month thereafter.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
