O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent refusing him to grant the Selection Grade Pay.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, in similar circumstances, a Division Bench of the Madurai Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).Nos.2654 batch of 2018 dated 19.03.2018 set aside the similar order under challenge, and the Government was directed to consider the claim. Pursuant to the same, the Government also issued order in G.O.Ms.No.306 Finance (CMPC) Department dated 12.09.2018. The petitioner's case may also be considered as per the said Government Order . He has also produced a copy of the said Government Order.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's case would be considered as per the said G.O.Ms.No.306 dated 12.09.2018.

4. In view of the above submissions, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation as per G.O.Ms.No.306 dated 12.09.2018 and pass suitable orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
