The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give adequate police protection for 7 days to the petitioner to erect the

fencing for cultivation in his lands in S.No.335/1A and S.No.335/1B, situated at Punjai Kilampadi Village, Erode Taluk and District.

2.The writ petition is of the year 2014. Hence, after a lapse of nearly 8 years, this Court finds nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

No costs.
