O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 21.01.2014 and to include his name in the seniority list for promotion to the post of Deputy Director of Horticulture in the Department of Horticulture and Plantation Crops.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner opted to go back to Agriculture Department and based on his option, he was reverted back to Agriculture Department and is now working as Joint Director of Agriculture at IMTI, Thuvakudi, Trichy. Hence, his lien with Horticulture Department becomes automatically cut-off and nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 2/4

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
