2. The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the first respondent to open the TASMAC Shop No.8810 at No.1/1A, No.107/88, Thanigai Nagar, Sadayankuppam, MMDA, Manali Pudhunagar, Chennai - 600103, Madhavaram Taluk.

3. When the matter is taken up for admission, the learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent, based on instructions, submitted that the shop was already opened at the place referred to in the writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the said statement of the learned standing counsel for the first respondent may be recorded and the writ petition may be closed.

5. Accordingly, by recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
