This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the proceedings of the second respondent in Rc.No.5478/B3/2013 dated 12.12.2013 and consequently direct the respondents to appoint her as secondary grade teacher in any one of the 17 vacancies available.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel on either side submitted that the petitioner submitted representations dated 08.07.2013 and 12.08.2013 seeking transfer from Thiruvannamalai to Thoothukudi District, citing family circumstances, which were considered and she was transferred to some other place and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.Recording the said submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
