Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the first respondent from granting permission to the second and third respondent for opening a TASMAC shop "Elite" or in any other name, for vending of alcohol within the premises in Shop No.2, Ground Floor, DEE CEE Towers, F-37-38, Second Avenue, Anna Nagar East, Chennai - 600102 belonging to the 4th respondent.

Today, the matter is listed through Video Conferencing. By consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

The prayer in the present writ petition is to forbear the first respondent from permitting the second and third respondents for opening a TASMAC Shop within the premises in Shop No.2, Ground Floor, DEE CEE Towers, F-37-38, Second Avenue, Anna Nagar East, Chennai - 600102 belonging to the 4th respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on written instructions, submitted that they have no intention of opening the TASMAC Shop in the subject premises. As such, the petitioner may not have any grievance in this regard.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, no further orders are required in the present case and accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
