The petitioner was originally appointed on 11.08.1999 at Danish Mission Primary School, Keelaiyur village, Villupuram District and in the year 2001, he was transferred to Danish Mission Primary School, Somasipadi Village, Keelpennathur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. The petitioner claims that the post of headmaster should be given to him as per the seniority and a representation dated 26.03.2018 has been submitted to the fourth respondent in this regard. The petitioner relies on the communication of the fourth respondent to the seventh respondent dated 05.12.2018 , in which it is stated that the Headmistress of Danish Mission Primary School, Somasipadi village, Keelpennathur range is getting retired on 31.05.2019 and that it is better to appoint a senior person on the basis of station seniority.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2018 shall be considered in terms of the recommendation already made by the fourth respondent.

3. In view of the limited nature of the prayer, the respondents are directed to consider petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2018 in the light of the communication of the fourth respondent dated 05.12.2018, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
