PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police to file a final report before the competent court of law in Crime No.255 of 2018 pending on the file of the respondent.

O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate and file a final report in Cr.No.255 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 18.06.2018, no final report has been filed till date.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report as expeditiously as possible. 5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
