These Criminal Original Petitions are filed to call for the records pertaining to the private complaint filed in C.C.No.2673 of 2018 on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner(s) in both Criminal Original Petitions as well as the respondent submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties outside the court through mediation and to that effect, both the respective learned counsel have made an endorsement in the court bundles. They further submitted that as the matter has been settled between the parties, the private complaint filed in C.C.No.2673 of 2018 against the petitioners pending on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai may be quashed and these criminal original petitions may be allowed.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides, these Criminal Original Petitions are allowed by quashing the case in C.C.No.2673 of 2018 pending on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
