Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider petitioner's online application dated 01.04.2015 on the basis of letter No.Na.Ka.No.38/m1/2017 dated NIL.2017 (signed as 11.08.2017) of second respondent.

This writ petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's

online application dated 01.04.2015, wherein and whereby, he sought for financial benefit provided under the scheme called "Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme".

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said request of the petitioner has not been considered by the first respondent so far, eventhough, the petitioner is entitled to get the financial benefits, based on the facts and circumstances, narrated in the said application.

4. Needless to say that if the petitioner has complied with the necessary requirements for providing the said financial assistance, the first respondent is not justified in delaying the benefit to the petitioner.

Thus, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass order on the application filed by the petitioner, after verifying the records already filed by her. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
