The present W.M.P.No.39459 of 2018 has been filed by the respondents in the writ petition, seeking extension of time for one year from 28.11.2018 to implement the order of this Court dated 12.07.2018 in W.P.No.31840 of 2013.

2. According to the petitioners herein, there is huge financial commitment and the administrative department in Secretariat needs to be consulted and therefore, there is some difficulty in complying with the directions within the time stipulated by this Court, in the order passed in the writ petition.

3. When the matter is taken up today, it is found that already the time granted by this Court was over as on 28.11.2018 itself and thereafter almost three months have elapsed. Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the extension of time of one year as sought for in the present petition cannot be granted. This Court is of the view that a further extension of eight weeks can be granted for implementation of the order of this Court passed in the writ petition on 12.07.2018. The W.M.P. stands disposed of in the above terms.
