O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent authority to give permission to conduct cultural programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Vemandampalayam Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival at Modakurichi Taluk, Erode District on 27.12.2018 between 6.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2018.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2018 had been considered and orders have been passed rejecting the permission to conduct dance programme, sought for by the petitioner and hence nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. He has also produced the proceedings of the respondent dated 16.12.2018 to that effect and the same was also served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Special Government Pleader and also the proceeding dated 16.12.2018 this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
