Heard Mr.S.P.Yuaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.M.R.Sakunthala, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

2.The Family Court, Salem has given a letter dated 23.06.2020 seeking extension of time on the ground that due to Corona Virus Pandemic, the parties are not appearing from March 2020 and therefore, the matter could not be disposed of within the time granted 1/2 http://www.judis.nic.in

vga by this Court. Hence, the Family Court, Salem requested three months time to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P. No.20 of 2018. 3.Though this Court, by order dated 21.02.2019, has granted one year time to dispose of the H.M.O.P. No.20 of 2018, it is not known why the Family Court, Salem has not disposed of the same within the specified time.

4.Considering the prevailing situation, this Court is inclined to give a final chance to the Family Court, Salem to comply with the direction issued by this Court on 21.02.2019. 5.Accordingly, the Family Court, Salem is directed to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P.
