ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings dated 12.12.2018 by the respondent under Section 91 Cr.P.C in Crime No.2 of 2018.

2. Admittedly, an F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.2 of 2018, in which, this petitioner has been shown as A2. During the course of investigation, the respondent police has issued a summon to the petitioner seeking his presence to enquire the petitioner. This summon has been put to challenge before this Court.

3. This Court does not find any ground to interfere with the summon issued by the respondent police. It is the duty of the accused person to co-operate with the investigation. If the accused does not wants to reveal anything, he can always remain silent. The respondent police shall issue a fresh summon to the petitioner, with the date and time for the appearance of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner. The petitioner shall attend the enquiry and Co-operate with the investigation.

4. This Criminal Original petition is dismissed with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
