Respondent Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to consider the Petitioner's application for the post of Natham Village Panchayat Secretary by taking note of the Petitioner's Village Panchayat Secretary post artificially filled up by way of transferring the Secretary from Natham Village Panchayat to Narimedu Village Panchayat.

Heard Ms. Hemalatha, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. R.S.Selvam, Learned Counsel for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondent to consider the application of the Petitioner for the post of Panchayat Secretary, Natham Village Panchayat. 3.

It has been brought to notice that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Respondent by proceedings in Na. Ka. No. Aa4/700/2018 dated 28.11.2019 has appointed one S.Suresh to the post of Panchayat Secretary, Natham Village Panchayat and its copy has been placed on record. In such circumstances, nothing remains to be considered in the matter, but it would not preclude the Petitioner from applying for future vacancy in that post, if he is otherwise then eligible, in accordance with law.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
