COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioners are seeking for a direction that notices No.Nil/Pi.A/2018, dated 03/12/2018 issued to the petitioners by the Section Officer, Public Works Department, Water Resources Organization, Red Hills Irrigation Section, Red Hills, Chennai- 600052 be quashed.
2. Notices have been issued to the petitioners to remove the encroachment within Survey No. 813.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners survey numbers are not Survey No.813, but it is survey No.331/10A3APT.
4. The learned Government Pleader (i/c) stated that the authorities are not contemplating any action in relation to Survey No.331/10A3APT.
5.The impugned notices pertains to Survey No.813 and it does not pertain to Survey Number of the petitioners' land. The statement of the learned Government Pleader (i/c) that the authorities do not intend to take any action in relation to Survey No.331/10A3APT is recorded.
6. In view of the above, recording the submission made by the learned Government Pleader (i/c), the Writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
