ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the Crime No.749 of 2018 dated 11.06.2018 on the file of S-10, Pallikaranai Police Station, Pallikaranai, Chennai under the control of Chennai City Police Commissionerate and file the final Report before the appropriate Magistrate Court within six weeks. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number, no final report is filed till date. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent submitted that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months. 5.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
