ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) Challenging the order dated 10.04.2018 passed by the Tribunal in OA No.194/2016, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.

2. Learned counsel for the first respondent has brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner department has passed an order dated 18.11.2020, rejecting the application of the first respondent seeking 2/4

appointment on compassionate grounds, pending the writ petition. Therefore, he seeks for dismissal of the writ petition as infructuous, as nothing further survives for adjudication in this writ petition, with a liberty to challenge the order dated 18.11.2020 passed by the petitioner Department. A copy of the proceedings dated 18.11.2020 has also been placed before this Court.

3. Recording the aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for the first respondent, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the first respondent to challenge the order dated 18.11.2020. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.61 of 2019 is closed.
