Sarojini v. The District Collector

W.P.No.1698 of 2019 M.S.RAMESH, J., This Court by order dated 26.02.2021 had earlier directed the learned District Munsif, Mettupalayam to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.38 of 2016 within a period of four months. The learned Judicial Officer had sought for extension of time. Accordingly, on 14.11.2022, the time limit was extended by four months. The learned District Munsif has now again sought for further extension of time for a period of four months. In his requisition letter, the reason for not disposing the matter within a time extended by this Court, is the same that of the earlier request made.

2. This Court is not in appreciation in the manner in which the suit has been kept pending.

3. As a last opportunity, the learned District Munsif, Mettupalayam, is called upon to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.38 of 2016 within a period of four months from today. If required, the suit shall be heard on day to-day basis.
