Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct traditional and customary Pooja on 17.01.2019 from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. at Arulmigu Nandeswarar Temple at Pannathur, Pochampalli Tk, Krishnagiri District being the temple constructed by his father in terms of the application dated 01.12.2018 submitted to the respondents 1 to 3 by considering the fact that it is not the subject matter of dispute in the minutes of Peace Committee Meeting dated 16.01.2016, 07.01.2017 and 09.01.2018 between the parties to the dispute in respect of Erthuveduthal function.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication herein. 2.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
