The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the present Writ Petition, the parties have settled the claim of the petitioner, by granting retirement benefits, as such, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for consideration and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that he has made an endorsement to the above effect on this case bundle.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, since it is stated that the respondents have settled the claim of the petitioner, no further orders are necessary in the Writ Petition.
