Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records relating to the proceeding of the 1st respondent in Resolution No.174/18 in Na.Ka.No.1122/07/A4/Kanchi dated 02.11.2018 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to recover the Waqf property from the 4th respondent.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respective respondents submitted that, though the petitioner has come up with this Writ petition challenging the proceeding of the 1st respondent in Resolution No.174/18 in Na.Ka.No.1122/07/A4/Kanchi dated 02.11.2018, pertaining to leasing out of the wakf property in favour of the 4th respondent, however, the lease period itself got over as early as 2021. Hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ petition.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 03.09.2024 skt NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No To 1.
