Mr.R.S.Selvam Government Advocate Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the representation dated 30/07/2016 and 03/09/2018 of the petitioner to transfer her to Noon Meal Centre at Government Higher Secondary School Royakottai in the light of G.O.Ms.163 SW and NMP Department dated 18/08/2010 and proposals/recommendation report dated 30/07/2016 of the 2nd respondent herein.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.07.2018, seeking transfer to Noon Meal Centre at Government Higher Secondary School, Royakottai in the light of G.O.Ms.No.163 SW &NMP Department dated 18.08.2010. It is submitted that the said transfer has been recommended by the second respondent by his proceedings dated 30.07.2016. As the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

2. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate takes notice https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for the respondents. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court is of the view that it is not necessary to dwell into the merits of the issue, but it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame.

4. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.09.2018 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.163 SW &NMP Department dated 18.08.2010 in the light of the recommendation of the second respondent dated 30.07.2016, and pass orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
