PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's petition dated 03.11.2018 within time limit fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.B.Kumarasamy Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petition dated 03.11.2018 within a time frame.

3. We are not inclined to grant the relief sought for, as we are informed that the State Human Rights Commission is having regular sitting and that there is a Judicial Member attending to all matters. Therefore, if there is any urgency in the matter, it is for the petitioner to move the State Human Rights Commission for early hearing and the prayer sought for in the writ petition is misconceived. Further, the State Human Rights Commission cannot be directed to take up the matter for hearing since there is a procedure under the Statute and unless a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cognizance of the complaint is taken, the matter cannot be proceeded.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
