O R D E R

This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking transfer of M.O.P.No.522 of 2018 pending on the file of Family Court, Puducherry to the file of Family Court, Chennai.

2. Respondent and petitioner are husband and wife. The respondent/husband filed divorce petition in M.O.P.No.522 of 2018 on the file of Family Court, Puducherry. In the divorce petition, the address of the petitioner/wife is shown as Chromepet, Chennai. The petitioner/wife would submit that she delivered a male child on 28.07.2018 and she cannot travel a long distance for each and every hearing to appear before the Family Court, Puducherry, which causes physical and financial hardship to the petitioner/wife.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent/husband would submit that he has no serious objection for transferring the case to the file of Family Court, Chennai.

4. Considering the convenience of both the parties H.M.O.P.No.522 of 2018 pending on the file of Family Court, Puducherry is withdrawn and transferred to the file of Principal Judge, Family court, Chennai. On receipt of the bundle, the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, is directed to renumber the same and issue notice to the parties and dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.

5. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
