O R D E R

This writ petition is filed, seeking direction the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 31.12.2015. The petitioner had appeared for the written examination for the post of Village Administrative Officer held on 14.06.2014 and secured 132nd position in the communal rank (204 marks). He made a representation to the respondents on 31.12.2015 as he found that four answers were wrongly described in the answer key and to revaluate his answer sheet. However, the same was not considered. He then approached the respondents through an application under Right to Information Act, to which the respondents replied that the last three candidates selected under BCM category secured only 207 marks. The grievance of the petitioner is that if the respondents had revaluated his answer sheet based on his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation with respect to the publishing of wrong answer key, he would have secured four marks, thereby would have become eligible for selection under BCM category. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition for appropriate relief.

2. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and Mr.M.Loganathan, Standing Counsel takes notice for the second and third respondents.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2015, in the light of the email sent by the petitioner with respect to the mistakes in the answer key, and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
