Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the entire records relating to the Crime No.13 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same as far as the petitioner is concerned.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.13 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and the defacto complainant were involved in same kind of business. Due to business competition, a quarrel was arose between them for which, the defacto complainant lodged a false complaint against the petitioners before the respondent police.

3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted that this Court may permit the petitioner to place entire materials before the law enforcing agency at the time of enquiry and prays this Court to issue direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, issues a direction to the respondent Police to conclude the enquiry in Cr.No.13 of 2018, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respective parties shall also cooperate with the investigation and shall file the materials available with them at the time of enquiry and it is needless to state that the respondent police shall not harass the petitioner.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above observations. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
