ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to adhere the statutory provision under section 160 read with 161 of Criminal procedure code and thereby investigate the petitioner/Victim who is presently resides at No.3, Arasappa Muadali Street, Purasaiwakkam, Chennai 600 007 and complete the investigation and file either final report or closure report in Crime No.114/2018 pending on the file of the respondent police within specific time frame.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner has already married the accused person. The respondent police is directed to complete the investigation within a period of one month and file a final report or closure report, as the case may be.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
