This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.04.2018 for payment of selection and special grade pay.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Tailoring Instructress Grade II in the time scale of pay under Rule 10(a)(2) of Tamil Nadu State Subordinate Service in the tailoring centre at Krishnagiri by the District Social Welfare Officer, Dharmapuri by the proceedings dated 17.03.1986. Her services were regularised on 04.04.1988 and she is currently working in Government Working Women Hostel at Hosur. By the proceedings dated 26.12.2009, the second respondent sent a proposal to the first respondent for providing selection grade and special grade pay on completion of 20 years of service on 01.04.2006. Thereafter, the first respondent sought for additional information and the same was provided by the second respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by way of a proposal on 17.06.2013. The grievance of the petitioner is that thereafter no further orders are passed. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation on 14.04.2018, which did not evoke any response. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

2. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Eventhough the second respondent has sent the recommendation in the year 2013 itself, the first respondent has not passed any further orders. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to implement the proposal sent by the second respondent dated 17.06.2013, in terms of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 14.04.2018, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
