CRL.MP.No.17636 of 2018 in HCP No.2468 of 2018 C.T.SELVAM, J and S.RAMATHILAGAM, J (Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.) This Court, under orders dated 19.11.2018, has granted Leave for a period of one month to the Convict prisoner/husband of the petitioner viz., S.Ravi, Son of Sengodan [Convict No.2304] primarily for the reason that he was suffering from serious heart ailment.

2. Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband is seriously ill, the position which, on instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor affirms.

3. In the circumstance, it is considered appropriate to allow this miscellaneous petition and accordingly, the Leave granted to the petitioner's husband is extended for a period of one month from 27.12.2018. Given the condition of the Convict Prisoner, this Court considers it appropriate to modify the order to the effect that no escort need to be provided to the convict prisoner/petitioner's husband.
