Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) Sanarpalayam Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival at Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District on 27.12.2018 between 06.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2018. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent permitting them to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Sanarpalaym Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple festival at Tiruchengode Taluk on 27.12.2018.

2. The case of the petitioner is that they have submitted an application before the respondent on 15.12.2018 to permit them to conduct the cultural programme in the event of Sanarpalayam Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple at Tiruchengode Taluk on 27.12.2018, but, so far, the petitioners' application was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Considering the fact that the festival is scheduled to be held on 27.12.2018 and the petitioners' application is pending with the respondent from 15.12.2018, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass suitable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 24.12.2018. With the said direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
